FIELD: aids for measuring physical and mechanical properties of elastomers, including rubbers, under dynamic (ramp) loading.
SUBSTANCE: device has pendulum striker provided with indenter and aids for registering angle of chop and bounce of pendulum. To determine depth and time of intrusion of indenter, the device is provided with linear displacement indicator which has movable rod switched to the same electric circuit as pendulum. Depth of intrusion, time of intrusion, total impact time and other dynamic and resilient hysteresis characteristics of rubber at single time ramp impact.
EFFECT: improved precision of measurement.
