METHOD FOR PREPARING VODKA "VIKTORIA" Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: liqueur and vodka industry.

SUBSTANCE: rectified ethyl alcohol "Luks" is mixed with part of purified drinking water to obtain an aqueous-alcoholic mixture with the volume concentration of ethyl alcohol 45-70%. The main additives are added to the prepared mixture and formed semi-finished product is subjected for purification with activated carbon in carbon-purifying battery. Then semi-finished product obtained after filtrated is fed to the main finishing tank. Derivatives of copper and silver organic acids are dissolved in the additional tank in another part of purified drinking water and then an aqueous solution of fullerenes with the concentration C₆₀ = 0.0001 mole/l is added to additional tank in the amount 10-15 l per 1000 dal of vodka. Prepared solution of additional supplements is mixed with the purified semi-finished product in the main finishing tank followed by its control filtration to obtain the condition vodka "Viktoria" that is subjected for portioning, package into light-proof containers and sealing. Method involves using a mixture of organic derivatives of copper and silver of the formula: (R_i - Me_{1 or 2}) wherein Me_{1 or 2} means (Cu⁺)₁ and (Ag⁺)₂ taken in the mass ratio = [Cu⁺]₁:[Ag⁺]₂ in the range from 0.06:1.0 to 100:1.0 and wherein an organic anion (R_i)^- is taken among the order: (HOOC-CH₂C(OH)-COOH-CH₂COO)^-; (HOOC-CH₂-CH₂COO)^- and (HOOC-CH(OH)-CH₂COO)^-. Invention provides reducing toxicity of ready product due to elimination of cobalt, nickel, fluorine, molybdenum and vanadium from components of vodka and to enhance its quality.
