FIELD: processes for working surfaces of articles of metals and alloys, possibly in machine engineering and other industry branches.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of micro-arc oxidation of articles in alkali liquid-glass base electrolytes; fusing coating of articles of metals or alloys with melting temperature no less than 1250°C by heating it up to temperature 690-700°C at rate corresponding to heating rate of furnace and then to temperature 900-1050°C at rate no more than 250°C/h; soaking articles at such temperature for 20 - 30 min and cooling them together with furnace at rate no more than 300°C/h.
EFFECT: uniform amorphous structure of coatings of articles, high quality of surface and large functional possibilities of articles, elimination of additional oxidizing and grinding stages.
