FIELD: pipeline transport, particularly to convey liquid products via pipelines.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises end cap composed of two parts and packing retaining unit formed as flexible ring having two inner conical surfaces. The cap parts are connected one to another by tightening member. Conical surfaces of the flexible ring are restricted from rotation. The device also has power tongs with shaft and head cooperating with tightening member, and fixing member arranged inside hollow shaft. The end cap consists of two coaxial truncated cones with different inclination angles of cone generators and with different diameters of cone bases. The cone bases are connected by tightening pin. Conical surfaces of flexible ring cooperate with outer surface of truncated cones, wherein the truncated cones and ring are retained from rotation. Hollow shaft is provided with steering wheel and is restricted from rotation. To control air-tightness of the pipe branch the device is provided with connection pipe having cock and communicated with valve interior.
