SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the pipeline transport of oil and / or petroleum products and can find application in overlapping the nozzles of the air escape valves during their elimination by installing a pipe cap. Pressurizer for overlapping the nozzles of the air escape valves consists of two coaxially located metal disks, between which is mounted an elastic ring of height Hm, and connected by a coupling threaded pin. Metal disks are made in the form of truncated cones, in which the cone generatrixes have an inclination angle of 45–55°. Outer surface of the elastic ring is toothed and has a central annular leak with a height h_m, equal to 0.25–0.3 H_m. Also, a method for sealing the nozzles of the air escape valves is provided by installing a pressurizer, welding a pipe cap and filling the cavity of the leak with a composite material.

EFFECT: simplification of the design of the pressurizer for overlapping the nozzles of the air escape valves and reducing the time spent on repair and emergency work on the main and process pipelines.
