BROADBAND ELECTRO-ACOUSTIC TRANSFORMER Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: hydro-acoustics, mainly, engineering of broadband electro-acoustic transformers with passive brackets.

SUBSTANCE: transformer has active piezo-ceramic column 1, back bracket 2, emission bracket 3, reinforcing link 4 and nut 5. emission bracket 3 has two segments 5 and 6, having spherical or cylindrical shape. Piezo-ceramic column 1 is glued together from piezo-ceramic washers, to ends of which back 2 and emission 3 brackets are glued. Into emission bracket during its production reinforcing link 4 is built. After gluing oscillating system is reinforced using link 4 and nut 5 with certain force over lower segment. Broadband electro-acoustic transformer can be used for construction of hydro-acoustic antennae of watercraft-based hydro-locators, which to increase efficiency of detection of underwater objects should implement broadband signals with large base.

EFFECT: further extension of capacity of electro-acoustic transformer with passive brackets.
