FIELD: hydroacoustic equipment, in particular, low-frequency rod piezoelectric ceramic transducers. SUBSTANCE: device has piezoelectric ceramic sensitive element which is located between two metal cover plates, and sealed housing, which provides cylindrical cavity which is located before first cover plate and is filled with liquid. Housing is equipped with rigid flange which is mounted on external surface of housing and which cross section is shaped as square with round hole which is equal to inner diameter of cavity. Design of transducer may be optimized by choice of ratio of cavity and flange. EFFECT: improved frequency response, increased efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwg
