FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves determining blood circulation and microcirculation in eye, measuring diastolic arterial blood pressure and calculating trophic coefficient from formula TC= LBCS*FCN/ Pdiast, where LBCS is the linear blood circulation speed in supratrochlear artery, FCN is the functioning capillary number in 1 mm2 of vision field counted when examining microcirculation stream bed in bulbar eyeball conjunctiva, Pdiast is the diastolic arterial blood pressure in mm of mercury column. TC values being less than 0.74, further dystrophy development is predicted. The value being greater than 0.74, favorable disease development course is predicted.

EFFECT: high accuracy of prognosis.
