METHOD OF PREDICTING OF ADVANCE OF PERIPHERIC VITREOCHORYRETINAL RETINA DYSTROPHY IN POSTOPERATIVE PERIOD OF PHACOEMULSIFICATION AT PATIENTS WITH MYOPIA OF HIGH DEGREE Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC A61B8/10 G01N33/483

Abstract RU 2337626 C1

FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.

SUBSTANCE: method consists that at persons older than 60 years define length of a forward-back axis of an eye, and then in assay of roots of hair define quantity of metals Pb and Zn then count factor of risk of PVCRD advance in the postoperative period under the formula Cr=Pb·10/Zn where Cr - risk coefficient of advance dystrophia vitreochoryretinalis in the postoperative period, Pb - quantity of lead in assay of roots of hair, mg/kg, 10 - coefficient, Zn quantity of zinc in assay of roots of hair, mg/kg; at length of a forward-back axis of an eye more than 27 mm and Cr factor higher than 2, prognosticate PVCRD advance.

EFFECT: possibility of predicting of PVCRD advance in the postoperative period of phacoemulsification at patients with myopia of high degree.
