FIELD: ferrous metallurgy; production of sheets rolled from quality structural low-carbon steels and super-low-carbon steels.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes hot rolling in roughing and finishing groups of stands of wide-strip rolling mill, reeling the strip, cold rolling and annealing. Hot rolling in two last stands of finishing group of rolling mill is performed at total cogging no less than 35%; cogging of strip in last stand is no less than 12%; feed speed for reeling at outlet from last stand of finishing group of rolling mill is determined in accordance with the following dependence: V_feed=K₁-K₂·δ where V_feed is optimal feed speed on reel at escape from finishing group of stands, m/s; K₁=13 m/s is critical speed of motion of strip obtained from correlation regression analysis of data; δ is nominal thickness of strip, mm; K₂≤1.1 m/s·mm is empirical coefficient taking into account effect of nominal thickness on critical feed speed for rolled products and semi-finished rolled products having thickness up to 3.0 mm or K₂≤1.5 m/s·mm is empirical coefficient taking into account effect of nominal thickness on critical feed speed for rolled products and semi-finished rolled products having thickness more than 3.0 mm.

EFFECT: smooth structure of products; avoidance of "orange peel" or "corrugation" defects.
