FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method involves steel making with specified chemical analysis at the following component content, wt %: carbon - 0.003-0.009, manganese - 0.10-0.25, niobium - 0.020-0.050, titanium - 0.015-0.035, vanadium not more than 0.05, hot rolling of slab blank with strip coiling temperature at the temperature of 700-730°C, etching of the strip, cold rolling, recrystallisation annealing with specified heating and cooling temperatures in the range of 370-750°C at standardised heat treatment duration; at that, temper rolling of the annealed strip is performed with reductions of cross-sectional area: ε=0.8÷1.0% for the strip with final thickness of 1.84 mm, ε=1.1÷1.3% for the strip with final thickness of 1.54-1.56 mm, ε=1.4÷1.6% for the strip with final thickness of 1.16 mm.
EFFECT: providing the required hardness level of a cold-rolled strip meant for high-speed cold blanking.
