FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: method is intended for improvement of tin consumer properties due to improvement of geometry in semi-finished rolled stocks for its making. Method includes hot rolling of strip billet according to specified modes and cold rolling of strips with required geometry at continuous mills. Possibility to produce tin with required geometry and plastic properties is provided by the fact that hot rolling of strips is done without interstand cooling in finishing train of mill, roll temperature downstream its third mill is assumed as 1040…1100°C, temperature at the end of strips rolling with thickness of h=2.0…2.29 mm is set as at least 820°C, and for strips with h=2.3 mm - at least 830°C, temperature of winding of hot-rolled strips for tin made in continuous annealing plants is assumed as 700…730°C, and for tin made in bell furnaces - 660…690°C, using in both cases spot cooling of strips at discharge rolling table of mill, cold rolling of semi-finished rolled stocks for tin is carried out with increased accuracy of thickness and with variance in longitudinal thickness along the whole length of roll of not more than 0.16 mm, and produced profile of cross section of cold-rolled strips is lenticular with convexity of up to 0.04 mm and wedging of not more than 0.04 mm.
EFFECT: possibility to produce tin with required geometry and plastic properties.
