FIELD: aeronautical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed flying vehicle has case 10 with pylon 11. Identical propulsors 1 and 2 are mounted in front portion of case 10 and on pylon 11 in longitudinal plane of symmetry at inclination forward from vertical through angle lesser than 10°. Aerodynamic surfaces 3 of propulsors are mounted for rotation in opposite direction. Mounted behind center of mass of flying vehicle symmetrically relative to longitudinal plane of symmetry of case 10 are two similar airscrews 13 and 14 at inclination forward from level through angle lesser than 10° so that lines passing through axes of rotation of airscrews 13 and 14 are located below center of mass of flying vehicle. Mounted vertically on pylon 11 are stabilizer and rudder. In flight, lifting forces and horizontal thrust of both propulsors 1 and 2 are in action. Horizontal thrusts form diving moment; for balancing this moment, flying vehicle is positioned at angle of attack relative to direction of flight, thus forming compensating moment due to thrusts of operating airscrews passing below center of mass.
