FIELD: building materials, porous artificial articles, granulated heat insulating materials, light fillers for concrete used in industry and civil building.
SUBSTANCE: claimed mixture contains (mass %): microsilica 41.37; 83.5 % tall saponified pitch 0.21 (calculated as dry matter); sodium hydroxide 45.22 % solution 21.97 (calculated as Na2O); water 36.45. Method for preparation of granulated heat insulating material from raw mixture includes providing of suspension from mixture components, mixture hydrothermal treatment at 80-90°C under atmospheric pressure for 10-15 min, and granulation followed by heat treatment at 350-400°C for 10 min.
EFFECT: decreased energy consumption, boric acid-free raw mixture for production of granulated heat insulating material with decreased bulk density and volume water absorption, and increased porosity.
