FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to anti-frictional cast irons used in friction units. The proposed anti-frictional cast iron comprises the following components, wt.-%: carbon, 3.32-4.04; silicon, 3.72-5.39; manganese, 0.18-0.51; molybdenum, 0.15-0.43; tin, 0.03-0.12; barium, 0.02-0.08; magnesium, 0.015-0.005; calcium, 0.005-0.002; aluminum, up to 0.01; rare-earth elements, 0.01-0.06, and iron, the balance. The content of components satisfies the following ratios, wt.-%: S1 = Si + Al + 10 Sn = 4.93-5.70; S2 = Mg + Ba + Ca + rare-earth elements = 0.107-0.180. Invention provides decreasing in the friction coefficient, cast iron hardness values and the wear of the mate article in retention of high wear-resistance and enhanced strength of cast iron.
EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of cast iron.
