FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: method and device can be used for estimation of distortions at amplifier stages. Durations of positive and negative half-waves of variable component of signal are measured additionally at output of four-terminal network. Measured values of durations are compared and harmonic distortions introduced by four-terminal network are judged from degree of difference in the durations.
EFFECT: simplified method of estimation.
