FIELD: tools for study of underwater shelves.
SUBSTANCE: proposed tool has rod with handle at one end and pointed taper end at other end. Handle is made in form of ring with cylindrical inner surface and radial threaded hole. Rod is provided with cylindrical projection located on side of its end face and secured and received by said hole of handle; it is secured by welding on side of inner cylindrical surface. On side of pointed taper end, rod is stepped and is provided with cylindrical thread; surface of rod is ground for application of protective coat on it. Tool is provided with protective adapter to limit access to sharply pointed end-piece; protective adapter is made in form of threaded bush; it is also mounted in hole of this adapter and is rigidly connected with it by means of bent cylindrical bar provided with cylindrical projection. Method of manufacture of this tool consists in manufacture of its components by said method and rigid connection of adapter with bent cylindrical bar. Then, threaded surfaces of adapter and rod are connected to complete contact of their end surfaces; cylindrical projection of rod is placed in radial hole of handle and is secured by welding.
EFFECT: extended field of application.
