FIELD: cutting devices to open sealed vessels, preferably metal seamed cans.
SUBSTANCE: can opening device comprises two closable levers mounted on common axis. The levers have arms and shafts located in single plane to which disc blade and corrugated pulling wheel are connected. The shafts are kinematically closed through gear. Shaft of disc blade connected to support reel is inclined towards corrugated pulling wheel shaft extending obliquely to the lever. Cam is installed under the pulling wheel shaft and projects beyond the disc blade with asymmetric cutting edge to cooperate with wall of the can to be cut. The asymmetric cutting edge is defined by generators inclined at different angles. Cam lift extends beyond the pulling wheel. Fixing bush for lever closing is secured to one lever. The arms are spaced from lever closing plane.
EFFECT: extended range of device usage to open cans of different configurations, increased operational reliability and extended capabilities.
