FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves determining four clinical parameters like palpable or not palpable gallbladder and defense reaction, body temperature, heart beat rate, two laboratory parameters like leukocytosis level and stab neutrophil shift and two ultrasonic examination parameters like laminated gallbladder wall and exudate availability around gallbladder. No signs like palpable gallbladder, defense and stab neutrophil shift being observed, leukocytosis level being below 12 000, body temperature and heart beat rate being in norm and no laminated gallbladder wall and exudate around gallbladder being available when carrying out ultrasonic examination, catarrhal cholecystitis is considered to be the case. Palpable gallbladder, defense, mild pyrexia being available, leukocytosis level being higher than 12 000, stab neutrophil shift being higher than 5, heart beat rate being greater than 80 strokes/min and laminated gallbladder wall and exudate around gallbladder being available when carrying out ultrasonic examination, phlegmonous cholecystitis is to be diagnosed.

EFFECT: high accuracy of diagnosis.
