FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of fasteners holding side parts of bumper on vehicle body. Side attachment of bumper on vehicle body is made in form of bracket 5 welded to side part of body, mainly in bay for arrangement of side part of bumper in line of welding of fender 6 and side 7. Bracket 5 is horizontally orientated and it has L-shaped cross section. Web 8 of bracket 5 contains projections interacting with structural members of bumper side part. Projections are made on web 8 of bracket 5 by extrusions 9 pointed upwards and arranged in holes 10 of upper flange 11 of bumper side part installed on web of bracket 5. Web 8 of bracket 5 is made preferably curved along its longer side, particularly, to meet curve of upper flange 11 of bumper side part which increases strength of bracket 5 in vertical direction.
EFFECT: improved reliability and simplified design of side attachment of vehicle bumper.
