FIELD: making strong photo-catalytically active self-cleaning coats on glass.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes bringing the hot glass surface in contact with fluid mixture containing titanium chloride, oxygen source and tin precursor. It is good practice that main volume of coat contains lesser than 10 atom-% of tin. Atomic concentration of tin on surface of coat shall be higher than that in main volume of coat.
EFFECT: enhanced resistance of coat to attrition and cyclic temperature action.
