FIELD: glasswork production. SUBSTANCE: invention may be used for high-speed coating of glass or glassware. Namely, at least one layer of tin oxide and silicon dioxide is deposited on glass substrate from gaseous composition containing organosilicon and organotin compounds, oxygen source, and accelerator selected from the group including organic phosphites, organic borates, water, and their mixtures. Deposition is conducted with rate ac. 350 /s at atmosphere pressure and temperature below 200 C. Composition may also contain accelerator selected from the group including boric acid esters, phosphorus acid esters, and water. EFFECT: accelerated coating to achieve desired refractive index. 25 cl, 4 tbl
