FIELD: combustion of mainly liquid fuel.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes fuel spraying by non-ozonized gaseous agent flow, ozonization and incidental feed of non-ozonized agent, mixing, and inflammation of mixture; in the process ozonized agent is fed for mixing perpendicular to non-ozonized flow into its eddy space formed by flow expansion. Non-ozonized gaseous agent flow feed is calculated from formula q2 = C2q1/C1, where C1 is economically efficient (optimal) concentration of ozone upon mixing of flows, mg/m3; C2 is ozone concentration in ozonized agent, mg/m3; q1, q2 are feeds of ozonized and non-ozonized flows, respectively, m3/h. Fuel combustion device has duct, movable converging-diverging nozzle, fuel nozzle, annular expansion chamber, and spark plugs. Expansion section of converging-diverging nozzle body has at least one through hole in the region of maximal velocity head communicating through gas conduit with ozone source.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of fuel combustion in ozone-air mixture.
