SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a nozzle-compressor on a UV irradiator for directing the flow of ionized air from the UV irradiator body into a wound or cavity through a drainage system. The nozzle contains a housing with a closed distal end and an open proximal end, a mechanism for attaching to a source of UV radiation from the side of the open proximal end, an air compressor located inside the housing. The air compressor is made with the ability to control the power, has a connector for connecting to a power source and is equipped with an outlet pipe at a closed distal end. The fastening mechanism contains clamping latches and a holder of latches fixed on the body.

EFFECT: increasing the effectiveness of the treatment of wound infection by supplying ozonized and ionized air from the body of the UV radiation source through the drainage system to the focus of inflammation — into the wound or body cavity.
