FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out anterior gastrotomy. Posterior wall ulcer is sutured with ligature. The ulcerated stomach wall is thrown out into its empty space beyond the ligature. Stomach clamp is applied within the intact tissues boundaries. The posterior stomach wall is sutured below the clamp with trapezoid continuous piercing suture. The stomach wall is excised under clamp jaws. The stomach wall is sutured with the same thread in reverse direction. After having sutured the wound, ligature end and its beginning are tied together. Two-tiered piercing suture formation is finished. Additional tunnel-type posterior stomach wall mobilization is carried out in penetrating ulcer cases.
EFFECT: reduced risk of traumatic complications.
