METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF COMPLICATED ULCERS OF ANTERIOR DUODENAL WALL Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC A61B17/00 

FIELD: medicine, surgical gastroenterology.

SUBSTANCE: one should dissect a complicated ulcer of anterior duodenal wall due to blunt technique. Moreover, by applying a clamp supplied with two braces for elastic fixation of sutured duodenal walls at its working ends. Under clamp's braces one should suture duodenal walls with uninterrupted P-shaped suture, dissect a clamp-fixed part of anterior duodenal wall with ulcer to be removed with a clamp. Duodenal wall should be sutured in the site of dissection with a transfixion blanket suture in reverse direction, connect the beginning and the end of the ligature applied. Moreover, one should finish applying a double uninterrupted transfixion suture. The innovation enables to simplify the dissection of anterior duodenal wall ulcers and decrease the chance for abdominal cavitary infection.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
