METHOD OF PRODUCTION OF RECTIFIED ALCOHOL Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC B01D3/14 C12P7/06 

FIELD: alcohol industry.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in boiling-off alcohol from distiller's wort in beer column at conversion of ethyl alcohol and by-admixtures to beer distillate with vapor of this column, cleaning beer distillate from overhead and intermediate admixtures including fusel oil components in fractionating column at delivery of hot water to its upper plate. Then, rectification of fractionation intermediate product is performed in alcohol column at selection of fractions of fusel oil, fusel alcohol and non-pasteurized alcohol, distilling fractions of overhead and intermediate admixtures of ethyl alcohol in distilling column. Fusel oil alcohol from alcohol column, fractions from condensers of alcohol and methanol columns, aqueous layer of liquid from fusel oil washer and fraction from pure fraction alcohol trap are directed to upper plate of distilling column. Hot water for hydraulic selection of overhead and intermediate admixtures separated form condenser of this column in form of concentrate of overhead admixtures and propyl alcohol are directed to upper zone of distilling column. Still liquid of distilling column is directed to middle zone of concentration part of fractionating column.

EFFECT: improved quality of alcohol.
