METHOD OF PRODUCTION OF RECTIFIED ALCOHOL Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC B01D3/14 C12P7/06 

FIELD: alcohol industry.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in boiling-off alcohol from distiller's wort in beer column at conversion of ethyl alcohol and by-admixtures into beer distillate with vapor from this column, cleaning beer distillate from overhead and intermediate admixtures, fusel oil components inclusive in fractionating column at delivery of hot water on its upper plate. Then, fractionation intermediate product is subjected to rectification in alcohol column at taking fractions of fusel oil, fusel alcohol and non-pasteurized alcohol and distilling the fractions of overhead and intermediate admixtures of ethyl alcohol in distilling column. Hydroselection water, fractions from condensers of alcohol and methanol columns, as well as alcohol traps of pure fractions are directed to upper plate of distilling column. Fractions form condensers of beer column, carbon dioxide separator and alcohol trap of contaminated fractions are directed to middle zone of upper plate of distilling column. Fractions of fusel oil from rectifying column are directed to lower plate of distilling column; hot water is additionally directed to this plate for hydraulic selection of overhead and intermediate admixtures. Intermediate admixture concentrate is taken from liquid phase of plate above lower point of introduction of hydroselection water. Column is fed with still liquid together with fraction of fusel oil vapor from condenser; hydroselection water and under-fusel oil layer of liquid from fusel oil water and vapor saturated with fusel oil are directed to upper plate of this column; they are directed to condenser and fusel oil washer. Still liquid of column is directed to upper plate of fractionating column for separation of fusel oil.

EFFECT: improved quality of ethyl alcohol.
