METHOD OF PRODUCTION OF RECTIFIED ALCOHOL Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC B01D3/14 C12P7/06 

FIELD: alcohol industry.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in boiling-off alcohol from distiller's wort in beer column at conversion of ethyl alcohol and by-admixtures into beer distillate with vapor from this column, cleaning beer distillate from overhead and intermediate admixtures, including fusel oil components in fractionating column at delivery of hot water to its upper plate. Then, rectification of fractionation intermediate product is performed in alcohol column at selection of fractions of fusel oil, fusel alcohol and non-pasteurized alcohol followed by distilling fractions of overhead and intermediate admixtures of ethyl alcohol in distilling column. Hydroselection water, fractions from condensers of alcohol and methanol columns and clean fraction trap are directed to upper plate of distilling column. Fractions from condensers of beer column, carbon dioxide separator and contaminated fraction alcohol trap are directed to upper plate of distilling column. Fractions from beer column condensers, carbon dioxide separator and contaminated fraction alcohol trap are directed to middle plate of distilling column. Fraction of fusel alcohol from rectifying column and hot water for hydraulic selection of admixtures are directed to upper plate of middle part of distilling column; fraction from distilling column condenser is directed to middle zone of distilling column. Aqueous layer of liquid from fusel oil washer and hydroselection water are directed to upper plate of lower part of distilling column; fraction from fusel oil vapor condenser is directed to middle zone of distilling plant; concentrate of overhead admixtures are discharged from distilling column condenser. Concentrate of intermediate admixtures is selected from liquid phase of lower plates of upper part of distilling column. Fusel oil fraction is discharged from vapor space of upper plate of lower part of distilling column. Still liquid of distilling column is directed to upper plate of rectifying column.

EFFECT: improved quality of alcohol.
