FIELD: electronic engineering, possible use for production of digital information carriers.
SUBSTANCE: method for forming working layer of information carrier made in form of thin film of iron-nickel alloy includes applying working layer of compound 25-32% Ni-68-75%Fe onto rigid base by vacuum thermal method, in which during recording process using laser ray serially positioned elementary sources of contact difference of potentials are formed with strength of electrostatic field of different direction, appropriate for logical levels of digital information.
EFFECT: unlimited possible number of information rewriting cycles; preservation of information under effect from electromagnetic fields of high strength and reliable preservation of recorded information under broad possible range of temperatures.
