FIELD: methods for recording analog information onto magneto-optical carrier.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to method, recording is performed by means of laser thermal processing of portions of working layer of carrier. Carrier is a magneto-optical carrier, working layer of which is made on basis of polymorph iron-nickel alloy. The main part of recording is performing annealing in range of temperatures of structural α→γ transformation of parts of working layer of carrier. T of annealing is determined by modulation of power of semiconductor laser, included in composition of recording device. Therefore, amplitude of recorded signal determines main working characteristic of magneto-optical information carrier - angle of rotation of polarization plane of linearly polarized wave of laser beam, included in composition of reading device.
EFFECT: possible recording of analog signal on magneto-optical carrier without device, forming external magnetic field, thus making it possible to simplify construction of recording device.
