FIELD: electrical and electromechanical engineering; three-phase induction and synchronous machines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed three-phase double-layer lap winding with 2p = 10 poles in z= 84 slots and coils grouped in row 3 3 3 3 2 repeated six times is made of 6p = 30 coil groups numbered 1G through 30G at mean slot pitch ys = 7. Novelty is that in order to reduce differential dissipation σd of electrical-machine m' = six-band fractional-pitch (q = 14/5) lap winding, coil groups 2G, 3G in first-grouping coil groups 1G through 5G have turn numbers (1 - x)wc for third coil of coil group 2G and first coil for coil group 3G; coils of coil group 5G have turn numbers (1 + x)wc at wc turns in remaining coils of coil groups and at turn number 2wc in each slot. Mentioned distribution of coils with unequal turn number is repeated in each next grouping, where x = 0.23.
EFFECT: reduced differential dissipation in electrical-machine fractional-pitch lap winding.
