FIELD: electrical and electromechanical engineering; three-phase induction and synchronous machines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed three-phase double-layer lap winding with 2p = 10 poles in z= 96 slots and coils grouped in row 4 3 3 3 3 repeated six times is made of 6p = 30 coil groups numbered 1G through 30G at mean slot pitch ys = 8. Novelty is that in order to reduce differential dissipation σd of electrical-machine m' = six-band fractional-pitch (q = 16/5) lap winding, coil group 1G out of first-grouping coil groups 1G through 5G has turn numbers (1 - x)wc in first and fourth coils and coil groups 3G, 4G have turn numbers (1 + x)wc in intermediate coil at wc turns in remaining coil groups and at turn number 2wc in each slot. Mentioned distribution of coils with unequal turn number is repeated in each next grouping at index of inequality of phase groups x = 0.24.
EFFECT: reduced differential dissipation in electrical-machine fractional-pitch lap winding.
