SUBSTANCE: one should detect the following risk factors: body weight below 62 kg - X1, IMT below 25 kg/m2 - X2, availability of fractures in anamnesis - X3, menopause under the age of 45 - X4, duration of menstrual period in woman's life being less than 30 yr - X5, the state of postmenopause - X6, compensation of hypothyroidism - X7, daily dosage of levothyroxine being above 100 mcg - X8, the period of intake of thyroid hormones being above 5 yr - X9. One should establish their digital values: 0 - not available, 1 - available. One should calculate prognostic coefficients F1 and F2 by the following formulas: F1=5.51+4.98*X1+0.89*X2+3.18*X3+3.27*X4-1.11*X5+2.37*X6+2.98*X7+5.19*X8+1.18*X9, F2=-0.92-0.62*X1-0.24*X2+1.27*X3-0.94*X4+0.74*X5+2.54*X6+0.14*X7+1.04*X8+0.31*X9, correspondingly. At the values of F1≥F2 one should predict high risk of osteoporosis development and at the values of F1<F2 - low risk.
