FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: massager can be used for sanitary and prophylactic massage. Massager has case onto which the removable massage elements are mounted by means of holders fixed onto the case. Removable massage elements have spherical working surface. Massager also has handle. Massage elements are disposed along circle and at the same horizontal plane. Holders are disposed at angle to axis of massager. There are holes in holders into which holes the shanks of different-temperature massage elements are inserted to keep preset order of alternation. Grooves are made at free ends of shanks; spring-loaded stop disc interacts with grooves. Massage element can be made in form of airtight container filled with some known refrigerating medium or with high heat-capacity medium. Different shape protrusions can be made onto working surface of massage elements to improve massage effect. To make usage more comfortable, 'cold" and "warm" massage elements are painted in different colors. Massage combines simultaneous thermal-contrast effect of different-temperature massage elements.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of procedure.
