FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: massager can be used for sanitary and prophylactic massage. Massager has case onto which removable sphere-surfaced massage elements are disposed along the circle. Massager also has handle disposed at the top part of massager. Massage elements are made in form of balls to have cylindrical shanks onto top edges of which shanks the round-shaped recesses are made. Case is made in form of round plate with holes disposed along peripheral part. Branches are mounted under recesses. Case is provided with post disposed in center of case on the top of it. Different-temperature shanks of massage elements are mounted in holes and branches of case in alternate order. Aid for fixing massage elements onto case is made in form of disc, which is put on post for limited rotation around axis. The disc has protrusions oriented at radial direction for interaction with circular recesses at shanks of massage elements. Massage element can be made in form of air-proof container filled with some known refrigerating medium or with medium having high heat capacity. Protrusions of different shape can be made on working surface of massage elements to improve efficiency of procedure. For better comfort, 'cold" and 'warm" massage elements are painted in different colors. Simultaneous temperature-contrast effect is provided.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of massage.
