FIELD: fire-extinguishing, particularly foam-generation compositions for extinguishing class A and B fires.

SUBSTANCE: composition comprises sodium alkylsulfate of primary higher fatty alcohols of C₈-C₁₀ fractions, sodium alkylsulfate of primary higher fatty alcohols of C₁₂-C₁₄ fractions, sodium lauryl ether sulfate of primary higher fatty alcohols of C₁₂-C₁₄ fractions, primary higher fatty alcohols of C₁₂-C₁₄ fractions, carbamide, n-butyl alcohol, butyl cellosolve, Neonol and Oxanol surfactants and water.

EFFECT: possibility to obtain mechanical low-expansion, medium-expansion and high-expansion foam, increased wetting ability of foam used with fresh and sea water.
