FIELD: metallurgy, namely solders for joining diamond monocrystals with Fe group metals and with alloys on base of such metals, possibly for making different type single-crystal tools used, for example in stomatology for making diamond heads and single-crystal drills.
SUBSTANCE: solder includes silver, copper, tin, titanium, titanium carbide, silicon carbide at preset relation of ingredients. Solder provides possibility for keeping improved operational parameters of tool till working temperature in range 700 - 750°C.
EFFECT: enhanced mechanical strength of joint allowing produce single-crystal tool with improved operational characteristics.
