FIELD: food industry; cans for drinks.

SUBSTANCE: proposed lid has central panel with product side and use side. Means for opening tear-off tab are found on use side. Lid is furnished additionally with impressed section and groove. Said groove on use side forms outer perimeter of tear-off tab and separates section from nondetachable part of use side. Impressed section adjoins groove forming clamping force applied to section of end face lid between impressed section and groove. Thus upper and lower planes divided by groove are formed. Lower plane includes part of tear-off tab adjoining the groove.

EFFECT: improved conditions of opening and prevention of "shooting off".
