FIELD: technology for selecting extensive targets.
SUBSTANCE: main substance of inventive method for locating spatially oriented extensive target on background of a set of elementary reflecting particles is based on using signal with super-resolution of target and selecting due to that of relatively stable in time determined delay of responses of reflected signal from nose and back portions of target on background of superposition of reflections from elementary reflective particles, randomly moving in space and time, surrounding the target.
EFFECT: introduction of location method allowing selection of elongated object (objects) oriented in space in a cloud of dipoles, without performing processes of detection and recognition of all targets in complicated target cloud.
