FIELD: the invention refers to radiolocation means of full polarized reception.
SUBSTANCE: it is suggested to develop a decision about expansion of a located object on the basis of measuring parameters of the matrix of scattering or its invariants for each target and computation on this basis of polarized parameters. The technical result of the invention is possibility to select an extended object (objects) in the cloud of dipoles without carrying out of detection processes and identification of all targets in the cloud of a complex target due to utilization of the signal of circular polarization in quality of a sounding signal of a radar station, the receiving system provides reception of linear orthogonal components of signals reflected from targets, and in quality of the parameter is used the phase shift accumulated in distant channels of distance between received orthogonal signal components reflected from targets in accordance with whose value a decision is developed about detection of an extended object by way of comparison with chosen criteria.
EFFECT: possibility of separation of an extended object in a cloud of dipoles.
