FIELD: metallurgy, namely production of isotropic electrical steel.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of multiple reduction of hot rolled strip between rolls at supplying technological lubricant to deformation region and at total deformation degree 75 - 80%. At such total deformation degree, strip tension between first and second stands is kept in range 26 - 30 t at strip width 1000 - 1200 mm; between next stands strip tension is no more than 10 t. Invention provides lowered quantity of grains with orientation {111} <u v w> at keeping necessary level of strip planeness.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of strips.
