FIELD: cryogenic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises producing ice seal in the zone of coupling by the following manner. The zone of the coupling is wound by the belt made of porous structuring material which is dry or wetted by fluid whose freezing temperature exceeds the temperature of the cryogenic agent in the pipeline. The wound is wetted by the same fluid and cryogenic agent is supplied to the pipeline.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
