FIELD: the invention refers to micro dosing of liquids.
SUBSTANCE: it is directed on providing of high-accurate dosing of small and ultra small volumes of liquids. The invention is based on the phenomenon of dropping cluster observed at local heating and evaporation of liquids. Micro drops of condensate falling out on liquid surface do not coalesce with the layer forming a stable structure - a dropping cluster. The cluster is a source of unlimited quantity of micro drops, the volume of which is set by liquid temperature. Having put the cuvette with a heating element under periscope one can capture with the aid of a micropipette isolated drops dosing volumes of liquids with about 10-9 micro liter accuracy defined by the error of measuring the diameter of the drops.
EFFECT: allows to measure drops with accuracy of about 10-9 micro liter.
