SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drop microfluidics, combinatorial and analytical chemistry, biotechnology and pharmaceutics. Method of creating a stream of liquid microdroplets, wherein a liquid is supplied to a substrate heated by a heating element, a dry spot is formed in a horizontal heated thin layer of liquid, which forms a liquid meniscus and a gas–liquid–solid contact line, providing an intense vapor flow, wherein microgrooves are formed on the surface of the substrate to stabilize the dry spot, wherein the size of the heating element coincides with the heating region of the liquid and is limited by the microgroove for stabilizing the meniscus of the liquid, and dry spot is a hole for formation of vertical flow of liquid microdroplets due to gravity.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of the device.
