FIELD: purification of petroleum containing water discharged from industrial enterprises, railway stations, purification stations, petroleum bulk plants, fuel filling stations, and also bilgeway water.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has upright casing with division zones in vertical plane defining designed amounts of contact mass of petroleum and water layer placed on partition walls of division zones. Water to be purified flows from one partition to another partition through petroleum product layers in accordance with column apparatuses principle. Repeated passage of water results in full purifying of water from dispersed petroleum products. Distribution members enable distribution of water over the entire surface of contact mass. Availability of stabilizers in each zone allows splashing of petroleum product to be avoided and equal thickness of contact mass to be kept.
EFFECT: wider operational capabilities and increased efficiency in purification of petroleum-containing water.
