SUBSTANCE: invention describes a compound of the formula (I): 
representing such compound as 2-(2,6-dichlorophenylamino)-1H-benzimidazol-4-ol and others. Also, invention relates to using these compounds for preparing a medicinal agent used in treatment of diseases associated with inhibition of [Na+/H+]-exchange. Proposed compounds can be used, in particular, in treatment and prophylaxis of impairment of respiratory impulse, acute and chronic renal diseases.
