SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the method of briquetting of the pulverized and powder-like wastes of metallurgical production. The method of production of the briquettes out of the ferroalloys waste provides for preparation of the mixture of initial material with the water solution of the liquid glass, treatment of the mixture with a water repellent agent at preparation for briquetting process and pressing of the material in the briquettes. As a water repellent they add in the mixture a dry ice at the mixture coming out of the mixer and before its charging into the molding fittings. The invention ensures the high speed of the mixture compaction, the decreased mixture adhesion to the molding fittings and increased density and strength of the briquettes.
