SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of metallurgy, in particular, to production of briquettes out of the dispersible materials formed at ferrosilicon crushing and its fractionation. The components of the mixture consisting mainly of the dispersible silicon-containing filler making the main part of the mixture, and also of the powdery binding component and the 10-30 % caustic soda water solution, are batched mixed together, pressed and hardened. In the capacity of the powdery binding component use the self- crumbling slag of the ferrochromium production taken in amount of 3-25 %. The caustic soda solution before its batching is heated up to the temperature of 30-100°C. The invention ensures an increased the briquettes strength, reduced duration of their hardening, decreased the losses of the active silicon in the briquettes, increased their miscibility in the molten metals and alloys.
