FIELD: road building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in railway transport, namely for construction of crossings of rail and motor roads. Proposed railway crossing has base, ballast, track skeleton and reinforced-concrete coating made up of separate inter-rail and inter-track plates, in lower part of plate cavity for corresponding tie is made and in upper part, mounting hole. Novelty-is that crossing includes additionally inter-rail plates-baffles installed at beginning and end of reinforced-concrete coating and provided with edges made of metal angle-plates for fastening in solid block with inter-rail plates. Inter-rail plates and their-rail plates-baffles are placed 20-40 mm higher than rail heads, and inter-track plates are placed at one level with rail head. Moreover, cross seams between inter-rail plates and cross seams between inter-track plates are fixed by welding to form solid coating, and longitudinal seams between inter-rail plates are filled up rubber insulator.
EFFECT: improved reliability of crossing, reduced cost of building, repair and operation, reduced labor input, simplified design, provision of safe running, combination of repair of railway crossing with operation of crossing by motor vehicles.
